40th Anniversary of PIAP

In 2005 PIAP celebrated its 40th anniversary. During the festival, in the EXPO XXI facility, we had a show of robots with the participation of the antiterrorist forces from Warsaw, whom we would like to thank warmly.

Despite the harsh weather conditions the antiterrorists delivered the presentation in a daring way. A (fake) charge was placed under a car parked in the parking lot in front of the EXPO XXI facility, and the pyrotechnicians had to find and neutralise it.

At first the chassis was checked with the use of the device EXPLORER. Then, robot INSPECTOR placed the loop of a rope on the towing hook of the car and the robot towed the car for over a dozen meters. Next, robot EXPERT, took over it removed the charge and hauled it to a safe distance, where it was neutralised with the use of a pyrotechnical rifle.
